 Many a patriot as well as sane writers have published their opinions in LankaWeb on the USA-Western assault on Sri Lanka for destroying terrorism of LTTE Tamil Tigers.

 However, the Americans and the West have decided that Sri Lanka which is placed in the strategic maritime lanes between the West and East, should be the “whipping-boy”, since their old target USSR, Iraq, Osama bin Laden, Libya are no more.

 It was pointed out that -;

Example One: The bullet-ridden body of the son of LTTE Terrorist Leader Velupillai Prabhakaran was displayed, with wounds of bullet holes, discharged at close range.
