Pillay’s representatives are here, not against Sri Lanka.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that, the technical team of the U.N. Human Rights Commission who arrived in this country, has had discussions with Mr G.L. Peiris, the Foreign Minister, and Mr Basil Rajapaksa,the Minister of Economic Development.
According to the Secretary of the Foreign Ministry, they have also had discussions with the Attorney General and the Secretary to the President.
This team of technical officers who has arrived in this country, to facilitate the Visit of Mrs Navaneethan Pillay, the U.N. Human Rights Commissioner to Sri Lanka,is due to meet the U.N. Representatives in this country, and the Ambassadors of the foreign countries in Sri Lanka.
Mr Karunathilaka Amunugama, the Secretary of Foreign Ministry has also said that,these discussions are being held to obtain a knowledge regarding the situation in this country.
Meanwhile, Dr Prathibha Mahanamahewa, the Chairman of  Sri Lankan Human Rights Commission has said that, this delegation hasn’t arrived in this country, to conduct an inquiry against Sri Lanka.
