UN must apologize to Sri Lanka- Opinion
When lies, fabrications, distortions, covert action plans and everything other than the truth has been part and parcel of Sri Lanka's conflict by players projecting themselves as conflict-solvers we need not be na‹ve to be surprised at the latest antic by Louise Frechette in her capacity as Chair of the UN Senior Advisory Group. In many ways it is a perfect example to highlight the lack of work ethics in an international body, the neglect of common diplomacy & decorum towards fellow team members and simply racism at its peak. Louise Frechette is just one such person in a world where there are plenty of others ever ready to ostracize Sri Lanka in a game where money talks in a world where there is nothing called peace, stability or sustainable development.
